Wheat of the Yasnogirka variety belongs to the erythrospermum type and is a winter wheat with a semi-spreading bush. The ear of this variety is awned, white in color, pyramidal in shape, medium in length and density. The grain is large, red, oval-shaped and elongated. The waxy coating on the flag leaf sheath and upper internode is strongly expressed, on the ear — moderately. The lemma of the spikelet has a short, slightly curved tooth with straight and broad shoulders. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as to root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown rust, and powdery mildew, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions. The sowing rate is 5.5–6.0 million germinating seeds per hectare. Seeds should be conditioned and treated to ensure high yield and disease protection. Direct combine harvesting is recommended, except in cases of heavy weed infestation. The medium maturity period allows this variety to be used in various climatic zones, expanding its application potential in agriculture. Yasnogirka wheat is widely used for flour and bread production, as well as other food products. Due to its agronomic characteristics and disease resistance, this variety is in demand among farmers. In particular, in the Pulyansky district and nearby settlements, the purchase price for hard Yasnogirka wheat is about 12,000 hryvnias per ton, reflecting its high economic value.
