It is resistant to drought and diseases such as lodging, shattering, root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown rust, and powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields across various climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Yield reaches 102.4 c/ha, with a seed sowing rate of 5.5-6.0 million per hectare; it is recommended to sow in the latter half of the optimal sowing window for optimal results.
The variety belongs to a high-intensity type with a short stem and medium-early maturity. The grain of Kyivskaya Ostistaya wheat contains 12.7-14.5% protein and 29.7-32.7% raw gluten, making it a strong variety with high bread-making qualities. Dough strength is 328-343 a.a., and bread volume from 100 g of flour reaches 1000-1110 ml, confirmed by an overall bread-making quality rating of 4.2-4.5 points.
