Soft winter wheat GRANTA® is a high-quality variety of grain wheat intended for the production of flour and bakery products. This variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to various diseases, ensuring a stable and reliable harvest. Due to its characteristics, GRANTA® is widely used in the food industry for making bread, cereals, and other food products.
GRANTA® belongs to the lutenscens subgroup and is characterized by strong growth and high adaptability to various agronomic conditions, especially at high and medium levels of fertilization. The ear of this variety is white, awnless, 90 to 108 mm long, with a medium density of spikelet arrangement. The glume is oval, which promotes good grain formation. The variety demonstrates an exceptional positive reaction to increased fertilizer content, especially nitrogen fertilizers, which allows significantly increasing yield with the correct agronomic approach.
A feature of the variety is high winter hardiness and resistance to shattering and seed germination in the ear under unfavorable weather conditions, such as delayed harvest and lack of precipitation during maturation. The seed dormancy period is 45-50 days, ensuring reliable storage and preservation of planting material. All these qualities make GRANTA® wheat a versatile and effective choice for growing in various climatic zones.
