Wheat Eurasia

A Reliable Choice for Winter Wheat Programs

The 'Eurasia' wheat variety from UNUS breeders is a strategic solution for farms prioritizing harvest predictability. As a soft winter wheat variety, this hybrid is designed for intensive cultivation technologies where the goal is to achieve high grain mass while maintaining crop resistance to aggressive environmental factors.

Rust Resistance as a Foundation for Yield

A critical factor for many regions in Ukraine remains leaf disease pressure, specifically brown rust. 'Eurasia' demonstrates inherent genetic resistance to this pathogen, allowing agronomists to minimize fungicide applications during the early and middle growth stages. This approach not only saves costs but also prevents crop stress caused by chemical overload.

Practical Field Applications

• Optimal Sowing Timing: The variety shows excellent germination energy, which is crucial for successful autumn tillering.
• Intensive Input Management: The wheat responds effectively to nitrogen fertilization, forming a full-sized ear even during significant spring temperature fluctuations.
• Harvest Efficiency: Due to the uniformity of the stand, the variety is well-suited for efficient combine harvesting, minimizing grain losses per hectare.

By choosing 'Eurasia' from UNUS, producers gain a versatile tool for fields with a high risk of fungal infections, requiring a dependable soft wheat variety for processing or sale as feed and food-grade grain.
