Wheat Dynamite

Intensive Farming Potential

The soft winter wheat variety «Dynamite» from the Czech breeder Selgen is engineered for professional farms that prioritize consistent yields through intensive cultivation practices. This variety thrives under structured management programs, rewarding farmers who utilize precise fertilizer application and robust fungicide protection.

Field Performance and Management

• Hardiness and Growth: Developed in the Czech Republic, «Dynamite» shows exceptional winter hardiness. Its ability to regenerate quickly after the winter dormancy is a major advantage for regions with volatile spring weather.
• Yield Stability: The variety features strong straw, which effectively manages the crop load and minimizes lodging risks during harvest. This mechanical resilience ensures that the high yield potential is successfully moved from the field to the storage silo.
• Versatility: As a soft wheat variety, it provides excellent milling characteristics when nitrogen management is optimized. This makes it a preferred choice for producers who need a reliable, multi-purpose crop that performs well both for internal feed needs and commercial grain sales.

For the best results, agronomists recommend «Dynamite» for fertile, well-structured fields. The variety responds exceptionally well to split nitrogen applications, which helps support grain filling during the critical stages of development. Its high leaf area index serves as a primary engine for photosynthesis, making timely disease control of the flag leaf a standard practice for those looking to maximize the thousand-kernel weight. By adhering to these operational guidelines, farms can count on a uniform, high-quality harvest year after year.
