Wheat Trembita bilotserkivska

Practical insights on growing winter 'Trembita'

This soft winter wheat variety does not require complicated maintenance; it reliably converts inputs into a high-quality yield.

Agronomic 'comfort' and resilience

The main advantage for any operator is stability. The variety possesses strong genetic resistance to classic diseases that typically eat into margins due to heavy fungicide use:

• Brown rust: minimal infection levels even during high-risk seasons.
• Septoria: foliage remains healthy for a longer period, which is critical for grain filling.
• Powdery mildew: excellent resistance, allowing for savings on at least one prophylactic treatment.

In terms of crop management, 'Trembita' is low-maintenance. It effectively utilizes nitrogen fertilizers, converting them into high-quality grain. Since its development type is typical for winter crops, the spring growth resumption is smooth, without any stressful lags.

Operational conclusions

This wheat variety makes harvest logistics easy to plan: it is not prone to lodging or shattering, which provides a comfortable time buffer during harvesting. For the farm, this means no rush and the ability to operate according to the schedule. In summary, this is a reliable tool that forgives minor technological errors and delivers consistent, profitable results.
