Bunchuk

Winter soft wheat variety "Bunchuk" belongs to strong and high-intensity steppe ecotypes, intended for cultivation in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. This variety is characterized by erythroid leaf arrangement, which provides the plant with better lighting and aeration, allowing to increase seeding rate by 10-15%. Plants reach a height of 85-95 cm, and the spike length is 9.2-10.8 cm with white spike color. Grain has an egg-shaped form and red color, 1000-grain weight is about 40 grams. The vegetation period of the variety is 278-283 days, ensuring stable yield within 75.3-89.4 centners per hectare. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, drought, shattering, and main diseases, as well as good cold resistance and resistance to germination of grain in the spike. These characteristics make "Bunchuk" a reliable choice for traditional cultivation technologies under corresponding climatic conditions. The quality of "Bunchuk" grain is confirmed by high content of crude protein (12.4-13.7%) and gluten (27.6-32.1%), making it attractive for use in food industry. Thanks to its morphobiological and agronomic properties, this wheat variety ensures high productivity and stability, contributing to efficient and stable grain production.
