BURAN 88 herbicide is a systemic total control agent designed for the effective control of various weed species, including perennial, annual, grass, broadleaf, as well as woody and shrub plants. The active ingredient of the product is ammonium glyphosate salt in a concentration of 888 g/kg, which enters the plants through leaves and stems, spreading throughout their entire structure, including the root system. This ensures the complete destruction of both the above-ground and underground parts of weeds.
The mechanism of action of the herbicide is based on the inhibition of the EPSP synthase enzyme involved in the synthesis of aromatic amino acids necessary for plant growth and life. As a result, protein metabolism and cell division are disrupted, leading to the death of weeds within 7–14 days depending on the average daily temperature. The product does not have a residual effect in the soil, making it safe for subsequent crop plants.
The use of BURAN 88 is possible on various territories: on household plots, agricultural fields, fallow lands, as well as in the trunk circles of trees and other weed-infested areas. Treatment is carried out by spraying vegetating weeds, which ensures high cost-effectiveness and a wide spectrum of action for the product. Thanks to its properties, the herbicide effectively destroys even hard-to-eradicate weed species, ensuring soil cleanliness and preparation for sowing crop plants.
