Wheat AVESTA

Stable yields in challenging conditions: Avesta winter wheat

Choosing seed material from "Franz" is a strategy for farmers who prioritize predictable results. Avesta, a soft winter wheat variety developed by the Federal Rostov Agrarian Scientific Center, is designed for high-quality grain production in moderate and arid climates.

Practical application on the farm

This variety is selected by farms employing intensive and resource-saving technologies. Avesta demonstrates high adaptability to regional soil and climatic conditions. Key utilization scenarios include:

• Crop rotation optimization: The variety performs excellently following various predecessors, featuring high lodging resistance, which simplifies harvesting even at high yield levels.
• Grain quality stability: Thanks to well-honed genetic characteristics, the variety provides a stable 1000-kernel weight ranging between 35–40 grams. This makes it convenient for adjusting sowing equipment and ensures uniform emergence.
• Risk-prone agriculture: The variety's hardiness helps minimize losses during seasons with moisture deficits in autumn and spring periods.

Agronomic potential

Utilizing Avesta allows agronomists to balance equipment load during the harvest window. Uniform ear ripening helps minimize losses during straight combining. To achieve target yield indicators, it is recommended to follow an intensive fertilizer application schedule, to which the variety responds with maximum realization of its biological potential. This is a solution for those seeking a verified, high-performance breeding product capable of confidently resisting environmental stress factors without excessive production costs.
