Maize KV 1 G 7328

Stable Results in Intensive Farming

The KV 1 G 7328 hybrid from the German breeding giant KWS is a balanced solution for farmers focused on maximizing output per hectare in grain and forage production. This dent-type hybrid demonstrates impressive adaptability, making it a reliable tool for both large agribusinesses and smaller farms.

Agronomic Profile and Key Features

The focus of the KV 1 G 7328 is on efficient moisture utilization and yield potential. Due to its dent grain type, the hybrid possesses high dry-down energy, which significantly reduces post-harvest grain drying costs. The mid-maturation group allows for optimized harvest scheduling.

• Versatility: Ideally suited for both commodity grain and high-nutrient livestock forage.
• Seeding Density: The optimal range is 50,000–60,000 plants per hectare, allowing the plant to fully reach its ear potential without excessive competition.
• German Breeding: Developed and controlled by KWS Saat, ensuring high genetic purity of the seed material.

Who is this hybrid for?

KV 1 G 7328 is an optimal choice for farms where yield stability and adherence to core technological requirements are critical. It is forgiving of minor agronomic deviations but shows outstanding grain quality results when provided with full fertilizer protocols. Compared to earlier-maturing analogs, this hybrid benefits from a higher 1000-grain weight, though it requires strict adherence to planting density, as over-seeding can negatively impact ear development.
