Maize KV 6 Yu 1101

Technological concept of the KWS KV 6 U 1101 hybrid

The German breeding school of KWS focuses on versatility and yield stability across various climatic zones with the KV 6 U 1101 model. This hybrid is the result of years of work by the originator Kws Saat Se & Co.Kgaa, aimed at developing a flexible plant with an intermediate grain type.

Biological traits and crop quality

• Intermediate grain type: The combination of flint and dent characteristics provides an optimal balance between moisture dry-down speed and 1000-kernel weight. The yellow color indicates a high carotenoid content.
• Usage directions: The hybrid was designed as a multi-functional tool. The grain shows high performance in food processing and possesses high energy value, which is crucial for efficient feed production.

The practical value of KV 6 U 1101 lies in its predictable development. Under intensive farming conditions, the plant demonstrates high responsiveness to mineral nutrition, making it a preferred choice for producers aiming for maximum commodity yield per hectare.
