Wheat Lyudmila

High-Yield Potential: The «Liudmyla» Winter Wheat

In the face of modern climatic challenges, farmers require a variety that perfectly balances high productivity with agronomic plasticity. Soft winter wheat «Liudmyla», developed by the experts at NVF Driada, Ltd, stands out as a powerful tool for intensive farming practices.

The standout feature of this variety is its impressive yield potential, reaching 9–10 tons per hectare, combined with reliable grain quality. With an average thousand-kernel weight (TKW) of 35–40 grams, this wheat demonstrates consistent filling capacity, even when faced with challenging weather conditions during the maturation phase.

Defensive Strength: Built-in Disease Resistance

Managing the infectious pressure is a primary concern for cereal growers. «Liudmyla» offers a significant advantage over many analogues due to its inherent genetic resistance to brown rust. Furthermore, the variety shows high tolerance to Helminthosporium leaf blight, which effectively helps in reducing the overall load on fungicide protection programs throughout the season.

Why Choose «Liudmyla»?

This variety is an optimal choice for agricultural enterprises that are:

• Committed to intensive cultivation technologies.
• Looking for a variety that maintains standability and consistency within standard crop rotation cycles.
• Seeking domestic selection that is perfectly adapted to Ukrainian soil and climate conditions while competing with international hybrids in terms of total output.

Despite its high-yielding genetic potential, the variety responds best when optimal planting dates are respected and balanced mineral fertilization is applied. It is a highly responsive wheat that transforms well-managed inputs into premium tonnage per hectare.
