Nikolskaya is a bright and fragrant vetch with lush green leaves, easily recognizable by their straight tip. The flowers have a pale purple hue, and the seeds are round, brown, and large.
This variety is particularly valued for its high yield: it produces an average of about 45–50 kg of dry matter per hectare, which is above the regional average. Seeds are harvested 87–98 days after sowing – fast enough for most gardeners.
Nikolskaya is easy to grow and suitable for both home gardens and small commercial plantations. However, be aware of its susceptibility to root rots, so ensure a good drainage system and avoid over-wetting the soil.
