Iryna is an excellent pea variety that is easy to grow and delights with its green leaves and pleasant aroma. After 3-4 weeks after seedling emergence, the plant acquires a delicate anthocyanian tint on the stems, while the leaves remain fresh green.
When the flower blooms, its petals have a light-purple color, which adds brightness to the garden. Pods at this phase are already of medium length and width, with soft fuzziness – they are easy to harvest.
When pods are fully ripe, their shape is round, size is medium, and the hull has a gray-brown color with weak brown ornamentation. They smell pleasantly and have orange coloration inside, making them especially appetizing for use in salads, soups, or as a side dish.
