Clover Libid

Working with 'Lybid' Clover

For farmers focusing on long-term grazing and high-quality green fodder, the 'Lybid' clover variety from the National Scientific Center 'Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS' is a reliable, high-performance asset. When managing pastures, 'Lybid' provides excellent durability: its superior resistance to trampling ensures the turf remains dense and productive even under intensive grazing cycles.

Key Operational Advantages

• Disease Resilience: 'Lybid' significantly reduces the need for chemical intervention. Its natural genetic resistance to anthracnose, root rot, and fusarium wilt keeps the stand healthy and minimizes maintenance costs.
• Fodder Efficiency: With a flowering period of 15–25 days, the variety is optimized for high-volume green mass production. It demonstrates rapid regrowth after mowing, ensuring stable yields throughout the season.
• Pest Management: The variety is naturally resistant to the clover seed chalcid, which simplifies the maintenance of seed plots and protects your investment in planting material.

Beyond its feed value, 'Lybid' serves as an excellent honey plant, actively attracting bees. This contributes to the biological health of your farm and enhances pollination in surrounding fields. 'Lybid' is a low-maintenance, high-utility choice for farmers who prioritize consistency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability in their forage production.
