Vegetable Pea Totem

TOTEM — an early-maturing vegetable pea variety, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The period from germination to technical maturity is 42-55 days, allowing for an early harvest. Plants reach a height of 70-80 cm and require support for optimal growth. Flowers are cream-colored, and pods are green, medium length, slightly curved, containing 7-8 large dark green peas that remain sweet and juicy for a long time thanks to the parchment layer.

The TOTEM variety is resistant to diseases such as ascochitis and fusarium, and is practically not damaged by the codling moth, which significantly eases care and improves harvest quality. The plant adapts well to various growing conditions and is suitable for both open and closed ground. Seeds are recommended to be sown in sunny areas with well-processed soil to a depth of 4-6 cm.

Peas of the TOTEM variety are widely used fresh, as well as suitable for making salads, canning, and freezing. Seeds are consumed at the milky maturity stage, which ensures excellent quality and taste of the product. Due to its characteristics and versatility of application, this variety is an excellent choice for those who value the taste and health benefits of vegetables in their diet.
