Vegetable Pea Olinda — a mid-season Dutch selection variety from Syngenta Seeds, maturing in 55-60 days. The plant is vigorous, densely leafed, with stems up to 65 cm tall, ensuring good yield. The variety is resistant to spring frosts, allowing planting in open ground both early and at the beginning of summer. Due to its high resistance to fungal diseases such as downy mildew and Fusarium wilt, the pea requires infrequent pest control, simplifying care and reducing protection costs.

Olinda pea pods are dark green, slightly curved, reaching 7-9 cm in length, each containing up to 9 round, bright green peas. The green pea yield from pods is 46-48%, making this variety attractive for fresh pod marketing, as well as for canning and freezing. The average 1000-seed weight is about 210 grams, indicating good seed quality and high yield potential.

The Olinda variety is suitable for industrial cultivation in open ground, especially in the Central Chernozem and Middle Volga regions, where it is officially registered. The plant forms two pods per node, with the first fruiting node located at the 12th internode. Harvesting is recommended to be done mechanically.
