Vegetable Pea Gunter

Consistent Yields for the Processing Industry

The «Gunter» pea variety from the Czech breeding company Moravoseed is the choice of farmers focused on reliable results in the mid-early segment. With a vegetation period of 80–90 days, this variety fits perfectly into a continuous cultivation scheme, allowing for efficient distribution of labor and equipment usage during the harvest season.

Practical Cultivation Insights

The primary advantage of «Gunter» lies in its combination of high yield and agronomic efficiency. With a 1000-seed weight of 240–260 grams, it demonstrates excellent bean development. Each pod typically contains 6–7 peas, uniform in size and offering superior taste characteristics during the technical maturity phase.

• For Processing: The high sugar content makes this variety highly sought after in the canning and frozen vegetable industries.
• Field Performance: Moravoseed's breeding takes climate risks into account, ensuring the hybrid remains resilient against common field stressors.
• Harvest Convenience: Uniform pod maturation facilitates mechanical harvesting with minimal losses, a critical factor for large-scale agricultural operations.

Agronomists choose this seed material for its predictability. By following standard agronomic practices, you obtain high-quality raw produce that requires minimal sorting upon arrival at the facility or processing plant. «Gunter» is a professional tool for those who prioritize Czech quality and supply chain stability.
