Dill variety RUSICH is a mid-early and medium-maturity bush variety, distinguished by a compact and sturdy plant reaching up to 130 cm in height. The leaves of this dill are large, green, rhomboid, and deeply cut, with a weak waxy coating that gives them an attractive appearance and promotes good foliation. The stem is dark green with a bluish tint, of medium length and diameter, ensuring plant stability. The central umbel of the dill is convex, of medium diameter, and multi-rayed, which is characteristic of this variety.
One of the key features of the RUSICH variety is its high cold hardiness and strong aroma, making it in demand for growing both for greens and spices. Yield for greens reaches 3.3-4.3 kg per square meter, while for spices it is about 2.5 kg per square meter. The mass of a single plant at harvest for greens is 30-50 g, and for spices, about 70 g. Thanks to prolonged vegetation and good foliation, the variety ensures a stable and high-quality yield.
To obtain a continuous harvest of greens, it is recommended to conduct multiple spring-summer sowings with an interval of 10-12 days, and for early greens collection, autumn sowing is possible. The sowing depth is 1-2 cm. The RUSICH variety is ideal for freezing and repeated cutting, making it a convenient and practical choice for growing in personal subsidiary holdings and household plots.
