ISPOLIN — an early-maturing variety of dill that ripens within 25-35 days. The plant is characterized by a compact shape and a height ranging from 90 to 105 cm, with basal rosettes at the stem base. Leaves are long, deeply cut, dark green in color with a distinct waxy coating, which gives them a fresh and rich appearance. The mass of one plant at harvest for greenery is 30-40 grams, and for spice collection — 100-115 grams, ensuring a high yield of up to 3 kg per square meter. Dill has a super-aromatic and refreshing taste, making it an excellent choice for culinary use.
This variety of dill is traditionally used when canning vegetables and also serves as a vitamin-rich aromatic addition to prepared dishes. Due to its rich aroma and taste, ISPOLIN is suitable for use fresh, as well as for drying, freezing, and pickling, which allows to preserve its useful properties and aroma for a long time.
For successful cultivation of dill, it is recommended to plant it in a well-lit area. The soil does not need to be prepared particularly carefully, but it is advisable to mulch it with peat to a layer of 2-3 cm for better moisture retention and plant protection. Seeds can be soaked in water for a few days before sowing and then sprouted on wet gauze, which promotes quick and uniform germination. The leaf rosette rises quickly, facilitating care and reducing leaf contamination after rain. Such an approach allows to obtain a rich harvest of aromatic greens suitable for various methods of use.
