ANISED BUNCH

Coriandrum sativum variety "Anised Bunch" is an early-maturing and unique bush variety, valued for its sweetish and soft greens, as well as large seeds. This variety is characterized by dark blue-green foliage with a waxy bloom and deeply lobed long and wide leaves, possessing a strong aroma that combines notes of anise and cumin. Thanks to the compact raised rosette, the greens do not get dirty during rain, which facilitates harvesting and allows collecting fresh greens almost all summer without repeated sowing. The vegetative period is about 40-45 days, and bushes reach a height of 35-40 cm.

The variety "Anised Bunch" is suitable for both home and commercial growing. Green yield reaches up to 2.5 kg per square meter, and seed yield - from 2.2 to 4.1 kg per square meter. Coriander seeds have a more pungent taste and are widely used in cooking as an inexpensive substitute for anise and cumin. They are perfect for adding to bakery products, marinades, sauces for meat, as well as to vegetables, fish, lamb, potatoes, and peas. Seeds and greens are a valuable addition to salt-restrictive diets, as they are able to enrich the taste of dishes without adding salt.

Sowing seeds is recommended in the open ground from the end of April to the beginning of May, while cultivation through seedlings is possible to obtain a yield already in the second half of May. For harvesting greens, sowings are resown every 3-4 weeks, which ensures a continuous supply of fresh aromatic greens. Thanks to their taste qualities and high yield, coriander "Anised Bunch" is an excellent choice for those who appreciate aromatic herbs with a rich aroma and a wide range of applications in cooking.
