Dill Green Star

The dill variety Green Star is a medium-late bush variety, characterized by rapid vegetative mass accumulation and a powerful root system that adapts well to various soil types and substrates. The plants form large, dark green leaves 35-40 cm long and 20-25 cm wide with an elevated arrangement, which facilitates care and reduces the likelihood of leaf contamination after rain. The leaves have a weak waxy coating and a strongly dissected structure with flattened thread-like segments, while sturdy long petioles provide additional stability.

The Green Star variety is distinguished by high aromaticity and excellent taste qualities, making it ideal for use in cooking and canning. Due to its long vegetative period, dill does not transition to the flowering phase for a long time, allowing for 3-4 greenery cuttings per season and ensuring a stable supply of fresh product. The leaves retain their consumer qualities and are well transported over long distances.

It is recommended to grow Green Star dill in open ground from early spring to late autumn. Its resistance to various growing conditions and ability to rapidly accumulate green mass make this variety an excellent choice for gardeners seeking to obtain aromatic and high-quality greenery throughout the season.
