Delta

The Delta dill variety belongs to the mid-maturing group and is characterized by a period from emergence to the start of harvest of 40-45 days. It is recommended for year-round cultivation in protected soil, including hydroponic crops, which makes it universal for various production conditions. The plants have a bushy type with active green development and a powerful root system, which adapts well to different types of soil and substrates.

Delta dill leaves are large, emerald green with a very weak waxy coating, lace-like and strongly dissected, 30-35 cm long and 20-25 cm wide. Leaf segments are flattened-linear and densely located, while long and sturdy petioles ensure ease of harvest. The leaf rosette is raised, which facilitates green harvesting and reduces the risk of leaf contamination. Taste and aroma qualities of the variety are high, making it attractive to consumers.

A feature of the variety is a late transition to the flowering phase, which allows significantly extending the harvest period and conducting up to 3-4 green cuttings. The robust leaf structure ensures excellent transportability of dill without loss of its consumer properties. The recommended planting density is 3-10 kg/ha, which contributes to optimal plant development and a high yield.
