Tulip Hollandia

Efficiency in Tulip Production: The 'Hollandia' Triumph

For commercial growers and landscape designers, the 'Hollandia' tulip is synonymous with reliability. As a member of the Triumph class, this variety is engineered for performance, offering a balanced height and a robust structure that holds up well in both field conditions and greenhouse forcing. It is the go-to choice for operations that prioritize high yield consistency and market-ready aesthetics.

Key Operational Advantages

• Proven Resilience: The hybrid shows a high level of genetic resistance to phytophthora, potato wart, and common scab, significantly lowering the risk of crop failure.
• Market Appeal: The intense red color of the petals is highly desirable in the retail market, and the stems demonstrate excellent durability during transport.
• Predictable Development: With a mid-season flowering profile, 'Hollandia' fits perfectly into production schedules aimed at peak demand periods.

From a practical standpoint, the strength of this variety lies in its disease resistance. In regions where soil health is a concern—specifically regarding golden nematode pressure—'Hollandia' offers a safer cultivation path compared to less resistant varieties. Growers successfully integrate this tulip into diverse operational scenarios, ranging from high-density urban landscaping to precision-timed cut flower production. The variety requires minimal intervention regarding fungicide application, allowing for a more streamlined and cost-effective management program throughout the growth cycle.
