Tulip Holland Snow

A reliable choice for the spring market

The Holland Snow tulip (Triumph class) is a professional-grade cultivar for growers focusing on mid-season forcing. Its primary value lies in its predictability: when proper temperature protocols are maintained, it provides a uniform harvest with consistent stem height across the entire batch.

Agrotechnics and Disease Resistance

A key advantage of this cultivar in greenhouse production is its high natural resistance to pathogens that often plague high-density plantings. The hybrid exhibits strong immunity to:

• Fusarium wilt, which significantly reduces bulb loss during the preparation phase;
• Downy mildew, allowing for a reduced frequency of chemical fungicide applications.

Operational Scenarios

Holland Snow fits perfectly into business models where color purity and commercial shelf appeal are critical during early spring. Its crisp, white petals make it a versatile choice for professional floral arrangements and mono-bouquets. The medium height of the plant simplifies logistics and packaging, ensuring it fits standard transport containers without stem breakage. To maximize profitability, maintaining strict humidity control in the root zone is recommended, as genetic disease resistance does not replace the need for precise microclimate management.
