Tulip Hollywood Star

Exotic aesthetics for your garden

The Hollywood Star tulip is a standout member of the Viridiflora class, instantly recognizable by its unique petal texture and striking color palette. Its signature feature is the bold combination of intense orange hues contrasted with the distinct green «flaming» on the petals. Unlike traditional tulip varieties, the petals of this cultivar have a slightly twisted, exotic shape that adds a sculptural quality to any flower bed.

Why choose Hollywood Star?

• Late-season bloomer: As most tulips fade, Hollywood Star is just reaching its peak, helping to extend the color show in your landscape.
• Compact profile: Its low stature makes it an excellent candidate for the front of borders, rock gardens, or decorative containers.
• Distinctive visual impact: The green and orange color scheme creates a vibrant contrast that stands out against conventional spring perennials.

It is important to note that because it blooms late, this tulip benefits from protection against direct midday sun, which helps preserve the intensity of the orange pigment. While not intended for commercial cut-flower production, its durability in the landscape is impressive. Hollywood Star is the ideal choice for gardeners who prioritize geometric interest and unconventional color combinations over the standard spring bulb offerings.
