Tulip Galina

Professional choice: The 'Galina' Tulip for reliable cultivation

A classic member of the Triumph class, 'Galina' is the go-to choice for agronomists and landscape designers prioritizing predictable, high-quality results. With its uniform height and vibrant yellow blooms, it serves as a robust tool for early spring landscape management.

Disease resistance and field management

The standout feature of this hybrid is its genetic resistance to a spectrum of common pathogens, which allows farms to significantly reduce their reliance on fungicide applications:

• Late blight and common scab: the plant demonstrates high tolerance, making it resilient in humid soil conditions.
• Potato cyst nematode and wart disease: its natural resistance allows for successful cultivation even in plots where soil health has been a primary concern for other crops.

Practical applications in the field

Due to its mid-season bloom, 'Galina' fills the critical gap between early botanical tulips and late-blooming hybrids. In a professional operation, this variety is typically utilized for:

• Mass planting: its sturdy stems remain upright despite spring weather, eliminating the need for support structures and saving labor costs.
• Cut flower production: the vivid yellow hue is highly sought after by retailers, while its structural integrity ensures a longer shelf life during distribution.

By integrating 'Galina' into your planting schedule, you invest in a crop that demands fewer inputs for pest and disease management, directly improving the bottom line of your operation.
