Tulip Ronaldo

Field Performance of the «Ronaldo» Tulip

The Triumph class tulip «Ronaldo» is an ideal choice for growers prioritizing reliability and cost-efficiency. Designed for consistent production, this variety minimizes operational downtime caused by plant health issues, ensuring a predictable harvest season.

Key Operational Advantages

• Disease Resistance: With a strong genetic profile resistant to late blight (phytophthora), potato wart, and common scab, this variety requires fewer chemical interventions. This lowers your total investment in crop protection products.
• Growth Characteristics: The plant maintains a stable, average height throughout its growth cycle. This eliminates the need for expensive or time-consuming support systems, allowing for efficient mechanical maintenance and harvesting.
• Flowering and Aesthetics: The deep burgundy petals hold their color exceptionally well, even under intense exposure. Being a mid-season bloomer, it integrates perfectly into existing logistics, allowing your team to manage the harvest sequence without stress.

Maintenance and Yield

Operating this variety is straightforward for any professional grower. Because of its sturdy structure and disease-resistant nature, the labor costs associated with weeding, spraying, and monitoring are significantly reduced. «Ronaldo» delivers high-quality, uniform stems that meet market demands with minimal waste. It is a productive asset that rewards growers who appreciate low-maintenance, high-yield solutions.
