Tulip Garant

Stability for your floral business: why 'Garant' remains a benchmark

Darwin Hybrid tulips are not just a garden decoration, but a reliable tool for those involved in forcing and landscaping. The 'Garant' variety rightfully occupies a niche as one of the most resilient representatives of this segment. Professional growers choose it when they need to minimize the risks of crop failure during the off-season.

Agrotechnical advantages in field conditions

The main value of the variety lies in its high resistance to pathogens that traditionally wipe out tulip fields. Thanks to its genetically ingrained resistance to sclerotinia, downy mildew, phomopsis, and phoma, 'Garant' allows for a reduction in the number of fungicide applications. This is especially relevant in high-density plantings where the risk of rapid fungal spread is at its peak.

Usage scenarios: from forcing to urban landscaping

• Professional forcing: The medium flowering period allows for efficient scheduling of production for spring holidays. The tall stem ensures the commercial appearance required by florists for large bouquets.
• Landscape design: Due to the bright yellow petals, the variety works perfectly in mass plantings. Unlike many decorative hybrids, 'Garant' does not lose its shape under rain, maintaining the flower structure until the end of the cycle.
• Reduced protection costs: Resistance to phoma and downy mildew reduces stress on the plants, allowing for the production of high-quality bulbs for further propagation.

If your goal is to achieve predictable results without daily monitoring for signs of fungal infection, 'Garant' will serve as the foundation of your agricultural planning.
