Tulip Corinna

Operational Profile of the «Corinna» Tulip

For professional flower growers, the «Corinna» tulip variety represents a standard of predictability and low-maintenance cultivation. As a member of the Single Late tulip group, it provides a consistent, high-quality result that simplifies seasonal logistics and labor management.

Field Performance and Disease Resistance

The primary advantage of «Corinna» is its robust biological defense system. When operating on diverse soil types, the cultivar’s natural immunity to golden potato cyst nematode and potato wart is a significant operational asset. Furthermore, its resilience against blackleg, late blight, and common scab means that fungicide requirements are notably lower compared to more sensitive hybrids. This high level of resistance significantly reduces the risk of crop failure and minimizes the need for intensive chemical interventions during the growing season.

Maintenance and Harvesting

The variety features medium-height stems that provide excellent structural integrity, eliminating the need for support systems or netting, even in adverse weather conditions. This structural stability reduces labor costs associated with crop maintenance. The vibrant, deep red petals maintain their color intensity throughout the blooming period, ensuring high-quality yield during harvest. The bulbs are dense, which aids in storage and simplifies transport logistics.

• Reliability: High survival rates and minimal crop loss.
• Efficiency: Mid-season blooming allows for better labor distribution.
• Market Value: Classical form and color make it a staple for floral retail and professional landscaping.
