The Ulyana variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and drought resistance at the level of standards. In growing regions such as the Kaluga and Smolensk regions, as well as the Volga-Vyatka and Central regions, the average grain yield reaches 32.2 centners per hectare, exceeding the average standard by 3.7 centners. Meanwhile, the variety is moderately affected by septoria but is more susceptible to brown rust and powdery mildew, which requires attention during plant protection. Triticale Ulyana is widely used in agriculture for the production of compound feeds and can also be used for obtaining flour, starch, and alcohol.
