SunCedar Kharkivskiy — this is a medium-late winter triticale variety, developed at the Kharkiv State Agrarian College and recommended for cultivation in all natural-climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe and Steppe. The vegetation period lasts 100-107 days, the plant reaches a height of 95-100 cm and has a strong straw. The ear is white in color, 10-11 cm long, without hairs, medium density, and prismatic shape. The grain is red in color, well-filled, with a natural density of 650 g/l. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, powdery mildew, brown rust, hard and soft head rot, ensuring reliable yield. The yield potential of SunCedar Kharkivskiy is 70-80 c/ha, with an average yield of 47 c/ha. The grain contains 13.0-14.0% protein, 66% starch, and 22.5% Group I gluten, providing high baking and mixing properties with a score of 8.3. Triticale SunCedar Kharkivskiy is used for producing food, technical, and feed grain. Due to its high-quality grain, the variety is suitable for producing wheat flour, bread, feed, and other products. It efficiently absorbs nutrients, contributing to stable yields even under adverse conditions, and is recommended for planting in both household and communal farms.
