Bereket

The winter triticale variety «Bereket» is a highly productive grain hybrid intended for grain and forage cultivation, as well as industrial use, specifically for bioethanol production. The plant is of medium height with a semi-prostrate bush, a spike of medium length and density, and is fully awned. The mass of 1000 grains is approximately 48.6 grams. There is a weak-to-medium waxy coating on the sheath of the flag leaf, and the outer surface of the lower glume lacks hairiness. The variety is characterized by a medium heading time and resistance to major diseases such as brown rust, powdery mildew, and glume fusarium. «Bereket» demonstrates high yield under various climatic conditions. In the Central region, average grain yield reaches 43.1 c/ha with a 7.7% increase over the standard, in the Central Chernozem region — 62.2 c/ha, in the North Caucasus — 52.3 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga region — 38.9 c/ha. Maximum yield indicators were achieved in scientific trials, where yield reached 78.2 and 95.7 c/ha depending on the crop predecessor. Due to these characteristics, the variety is recommended for widespread use in Russian agriculture. The «Bereket» variety is distinguished by good adaptation to different soil types and climatic conditions, including areas with insufficient moisture. It has a medium maturity period and resistance to stress factors, making it a reliable choice for farmers. High immunity to diseases and stable productivity ensure economic efficiency of cultivation, as well as the possibility of using triticale in various agro-technical systems.
