Triticale BOBBY

Winter Triticale "Bobby": Field Performance Overview

The "Bobby" variety fully met these expectations. It is German breeding, and it performs in the field exactly as you would expect from European quality: predictably and reliably.

Crop Health and Resistance

The most important thing for an agronomist is spending less time with the sprayer. Powdery mildew was not an issue either, even in years with high humidity.

Operational Features

• Sowing: The variety tillers exceptionally well, allowing for minor adjustments in seeding rates without losing the density of the productive stand.
• Winter hardiness: It adapted to local climatic conditions successfully, showing stable overwintering even with significant temperature fluctuations.
• Harvesting: Heading is uniform, and maturation is synchronous, simplifying combine settings. The grain does not shatter, which provides a buffer during the harvest season.

If you are looking for a high-tech variety that forgives minor errors in crop protection and delivers a stable feed or food yield, "Bobby" is the choice. This is a crop for those who are accustomed to working with professional seed material, where every euro invested turns into an extra quintal in the granary.
