Tomato variety Superbomba belongs to medium-maturing, large-fruited types, ripening approximately 110 days after emergence of full seedlings. This variety is well-adapted to open ground and greenhouse conditions, confirmed by stable high yields. Determinate type plants, compact and strong, reach heights of 80 centimeters in open ground and up to 150 centimeters under protective cover. For optimal plant development, staking and pinching are recommended, with best results achieved by forming the plant into three stems. Leaves are light green, medium-sized, and inflorescences are simple, with 5-6 fruits per cluster, sometimes forming semi-complex clusters with a greater number of fruits.
Fruits of tomato Superbomba have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing, medium density, and large size — single fruit weight ranges from 300 to 600 grams. At biological maturity, fruits acquire a bright red color with a glossy and tough skin. Flesh is very juicy, tender, and meaty, practically containing no liquid when broken. Inside the fruits, more than six small seed chambers are located. Taste of tomatoes is rated as excellent, with a harmonious balance of acidity and sweetness, making them suitable for fresh salads, juices, sauces, and various home-cooked dishes. Particularly well-suited for grilling.
Variety Superbomba is characterized by high yield — under proper agronomy, about 10 kilograms of marketable fruits can be harvested per square meter. The plant responds well to watering and regular feeding with complex fertilizers, but is sensitive to boron and potassium deficiency in soil. Due to its adaptability and stable productivity, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including harsh Siberian climate.
