PINK ELEPHANT

Tomato variety 'Pink Elephant' is a large-fruited, mid-season variety with a ripening period of 105 to 115 days. Plants are strong, determinate or semi-determinate, reaching a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters and require mandatory pinching and support. Leaves are dark green, potato-like, and inflorescences are intermediate, promoting clusters of 3-4 large fruits. It is recommended to train the plant into one or two stems for optimal growth and yield.

The fruits of 'Pink Elephant' tomato are large, weighing from 250-300 grams to 1 kilogram, flat-round in shape with slight ribbing at the stem end. Their color is a beautiful dark pink or pearlescent pink, uniform without spots. The flesh is very juicy, succulent, with few seeds, high sugar content, and a rich sweet taste without noticeable acidity. Due to their dense structure, the fruits are well-suited for fresh consumption, canning, juice and sauce preparation, and have a long storage life.

The variety is characterized by stable high yield — up to 6 to 8 kilograms of quality tomatoes per square meter. 'Pink Elephant' requires careful care, including thorough plant shaping, maintaining optimal temperature, regular watering, and quality fertilization. Additionally, the variety has comprehensive resistance to diseases and stress conditions, making it attractive for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses and polytunnels.
