Tomato Marshal Pobeda

Technical Profile of the Indeterminate Variety

The "Marshal Pobeda" (Marshal Victory) variety, developed by Vladimir Nikolaevich Dederko, is a productive indeterminate tomato designed for large-fruit production in protected ground. Its genetic potential allows the plant to continuously form fruit clusters throughout the entire growing season, necessitating consistent pruning and trellis training.

Morphological Features and Productivity

• Growth Type: Indeterminate. The cultivation system requires training into one or two stems to optimize nutrient distribution towards fruit development.
• Maturity: Mid-season cycle (100–120 days from emergence). This timeframe balances vegetative mass accumulation and generative node formation.
• Fruit Morphology: Flattened-round fruits weighing over 200 grams, placing this variety firmly in the beefsteak tomato segment.
• Yield Potential: Reported productivity exceeds 190 tons per hectare, provided that agrotechnological standards and optimal planting densities are maintained.

A critical technical advantage of this variety is its crack resistance, assuming proper irrigation management. The red color of the fruit results from a high lycopene content, which, combined with a dense yet fleshy texture, makes "Marshal Pobeda" a commercially viable product for both fresh market consumption and industrial processing. Its high adaptability to climatic conditions allows for effective use across various greenhouse farming environments.
