The maturation period is from 60 to 80 days after transplanting seedlings to a permanent location, which allows obtaining fresh produce for a long period. Ikebana is characterized by high cold and heat resistance, which makes it a universal choice for various climatic conditions. The plant forms a compact rosette up to 18 cm high with a straight leaf edge and green color. The average weight of one plant with a pot reaches about 200 grams. The variety has resistance to leaf burn, downy mildew, black rot, and septoria, which significantly reduces the risks of diseases and crop losses. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to grow lettuce on fertile sandy loams with regular irrigation control. Thanks to these characteristics, Ikebana is suitable for industrial cultivation in greenhouses and farms, ensuring stable product quality. Ikebana lettuce belongs to the Buttery type and is marketable as early as 32-35 days from sowing, which allows effective planning of sales and implementation. The recommended growing season is year-round, which makes this variety particularly attractive for commercial production.
