CASCADE SUNNY

Tomato Cascade Sunny is a medium-maturing, high-yielding variety with an indeterminate growth habit and tall plants reaching up to 150 cm in height. The plant has a prolonged fruiting period and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground with support on stakes, as well as under temporary plastic covers or in plastic greenhouses. For optimal development, seedlings should be sown in early March, transplanted at the stage of the first true leaf, and planted in greenhouses in May according to the scheme of 40x60 cm. After transplanting, plants are shaped into 2-3 stems with removal of all suckers, which promotes better fruiting.

The fruits of Tomato Cascade Sunny have an egg-shaped or nearly round, slightly elongated form, colored yellow-orange, and weigh from 20 to 25 grams. Each cluster contains 10 or more fruits that do not crack. Unripe fruits are green with a dark green spot at the base. The taste of these tomatoes is exceptional — very juicy and incredibly sweet, making them ideal for fresh consumption, preparing vibrant summer salads, as well as for canning, freezing, pickling, drying, and sun-drying.

The variety is characterized by high yield — from 8.5 to 9.5 kg per square meter — as well as resistance to major fungal and viral diseases of tomatoes.
