Tomato ILYA MUROMETS

Tomato Ilya Muromets is a medium-early, large-fruited indeterminate variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under greenhouse or temporary cover conditions. The plant is tall, reaching up to 2 meters in height, with a robust, leafy bush and numerous evenly distributed fruiting sites. Successful cultivation requires staking on supports or trellises, as well as regular pinching. The variety is resistant to fungal diseases, blossom end rot, and other ailments, ensuring stable productivity even under high solar activity. The fruits of tomato Ilya Muromets are flat-round or round in shape, featuring bright yellow or yellow-orange coloration without spots at the stem end. Fruit weight ranges from 230 to 350 grams, with dense, juicy flesh and a balanced slightly acidic-sweet flavor with rich taste qualities. Due to these characteristics, tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, canning, and juice processing. Yield reaches up to 10 kg per square meter, and fruits store well in cool, dark conditions. Successful cultivation of Ilya Muromets requires full sunlight, moderate watering, and fertilization. The variety is versatile and can be grown both in plastic greenhouses and open ground. High yield, disease resistance, and excellent taste qualities make this tomato popular among gardeners and home canners.
