RUSSIAN HAIR RED

Tomato RUSSIAN HAIR RED is an ultra-early cherry hybrid, distinguished by high yield and resistance to several diseases. The plants are indeterminate, tall, reaching 180 to 200 cm in height, with a compact form and shortened internodes. Fruits are gathered in simple, dense clusters of 12–15 fruits, facilitating harvest and increasing efficiency.

The fruits are round, slightly ribbed, weighing 15–25 grams, and are bright red when ripe. They have a dense structure and sweet flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning. High sugar, vitamin, and lycopene content ensures beneficial properties and rich flavor. Consuming just 100 grams of fruit provides the recommended daily dose of lycopene.

The ripening period is 95–105 days after emergence, allowing for a relatively quick first harvest. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as cladosporiosis, Fusarium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, as well as cracking and fruit drop. It is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and open ground, depending on regional climatic conditions. Yield reaches 9–10 kg per square meter in open ground and up to 16 kg in heated greenhouses.
