Tomato CASCADE UD

Stable yields with early maturity

The «Kaskadny UD» tomato is a result of breeding work by the «Geterozisnaya Selektsiya» company, led by Anatoly Aliluev and Tatyana Shtainert. This variety was developed to meet the needs of vegetable growers seeking an early-ripening pink-fruited tomato capable of performing well in unstable climatic conditions.

Agronomic potential and protection

A key feature of this hybrid is its combination of a short growing season (up to 90 days) and high levels of field resistance. The variety shows genetic resilience against septoria and late blight (phytophthora), making it highly demanded in regions with risky agriculture, where fungal outbreaks in late summer can otherwise devastate crops.

Technical characteristics

• Type: Pink-fruited tomato with a round shape.
• Defense spectrum: Active resistance against alternaria, mycosphaerella spot, and brown spot.
• Ripening period: Ultra-early cycle (less than 3 months from germination).

«Kaskadny UD» has successfully proven itself in the private sector and small-scale farming. Its popularity is due not only to the aesthetically attractive appearance of the fruits but also to their consistency. In professional growing operations, this hybrid is valued for its predictability: when proper agronomic practices are followed, it produces the bulk of its harvest before the peak onset of pathogens, significantly reducing the need for fungicide treatments.
