Description YOUNG-GREEN
The tomato variety YOUNG-GREEN is a medium-maturing, tall variety with a prolonged fruiting period. The plant is indeterminate and requires staking, especially important when grown under plastic covers or in open ground. Leaves are medium-length and dark green, and plant formation is recommended to be limited to 1-2 stems with removal of suckers to promote better fruit development.

The fruits of this variety have a pear shape, medium density, and slightly ribbed surface. Immature tomatoes are green with a spot at the base, while ripe ones develop a yellow-green hue. Each fruit weighs approximately 30-40 grams. Bunches form 5-8 juicy fruits with succulent, tender flesh possessing a pleasant sweet taste and delicate fruity aroma.

The variety is characterized by good yield, reaching 9.5-10 kg per square meter in plastic greenhouses. Green YOUNG-GREEN tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, salad and snack preparation, as well as for whole-fruit canning. Sowing for seedlings is conducted in March, transplanting occurs at the first true leaf stage, and planting in greenhouses is done at the beginning to mid-May; under warm weather conditions, planting may be done as late as late April.
