Tomato CUBYSHKA RED

Technical Profile and Yield Potential

The 'Kubyshka Krasnaya' (Red Kubyshka) variety from the Gavrish breeding firm is a determinate tomato engineered for stable performance in open field conditions and greenhouse environments. The primary breeding focus was early maturity: the growing season spans 90–100 days, allowing the crop to complete its cycle before peak outbreaks of late blight.

Biological Traits and Resilience

The plant exhibits a compact growth habit, typical of the determinate type, which facilitates efficient maintenance and harvesting. A core technical advantage of this variety is its genetic resistance to blossom-end rot, a critical factor for maintaining high-quality produce under fluctuating temperature regimes and irrigation stress.

• Fruit morphology: Round to oval shape provides consistent density and integrity.
• Weight parameters: Fruit weights of 40–80 grams make this variety ideal for whole-fruit canning.
• Yield capacity: With proper agronomic management, the variety achieves a yield potential of 70–100 tons per hectare.

Technologically, the variety is optimized for professional cultivation, prioritizing fruit firmness, which is essential for transport durability. The vibrant red color is a result of high lycopene content, meeting market demands for both aesthetics and nutritional value.
