CASCADE CHOCOLATE

Tomato variety Cascade Chocolate is a mid-season, very productive variety, maturing in 106-111 days from germination. The plant is tall with a prolonged fruiting period, making it suitable for cultivation under temporary plastic covers as well as in open ground, provided it is staked to stakes. Fruits are round, firm, chocolate-red in color, weighing 25-30 grams, forming clusters of 10 fruits. The flavor is rich, tangy-sweet with distinct fruity notes, and the fruits do not crack, making them versatile for various uses.

Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in May, according to a 40x60 cm scheme. After transplanting, plants are pruned to 2-3 stems, with all suckers removed, which promotes better growth and fruiting. The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases, simplifying care and increasing yield reliability.

Cascade Chocolate is ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for canning and freezing. Seeds retain viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, although it is recommended to increase the sowing rate after the expiration date to ensure good germination.
