Tomato Ocharovanie

Professional insights into the «Ocharovanie» variety

The «Ocharovanie» tomato, developed by PNIISKH, is a robust indeterminate variety designed for high-yield professional greenhouse production. With a maturation period of 120–130 days, it is a strategic choice for growers aiming for consistency and quality, offering a potential yield of 70–100 tons per hectare under optimized growing conditions.

Practical applications in farming

• Fresh Market Supply: The striking yellow-to-orange color of these 60–80g fruits makes them highly marketable for gourmet segments, health-focused retailers, and the HoReCa industry, where visual appeal and flavor are paramount.
• Canning and Preservation: Due to their uniform shape and firm skin, these tomatoes are a standard for high-quality whole-canning operations. They maintain structural integrity through the heat-processing cycle, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing end product.
• Optimized Greenhouse Management: As an indeterminate variety, «Ocharovanie» is perfectly suited for vertical trellising, allowing growers to maximize output per square meter. The variety thrives under modern fertigation systems and precise drip irrigation, allowing for high control over the growth cycle and final harvest volume.

For agricultural enterprises, this variety serves as a predictable asset. Success with «Ocharovanie» relies on disciplined canopy management and precise sowing schedules to align with the peak market demand. By selecting this PNIISKH hybrid, farmers secure a reliable tool for both immediate wholesale and long-term processing contracts.
