Description ORANGE WAVES
Orange Waves are a type of Tagetes, native to Central and South America, where they grow wild from New Mexico to Argentina. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family and is characterized by annual and perennial species with compact or spreading bushes ranging from 20 to 120 cm in height. The leaves are pinnately dissected with a light green hue, while the inflorescences are bright orange heads that bloom profusely from June until the first frost.

Orange Waves are valued not only for their decorative appeal but also for their healing properties. Inside the seeds is lutein, which can prevent the development of cataracts, as well as components that help with pancreatic inflammation and diabetes. A decoction from dried flowers is used to treat bronchitis, colds, stomatitis, asthma, and for blood purification. Preparing the decoction involves mixing one large spoon of crushed flower heads with a liter of boiling water, letting it steep for three hours, and then performing the subsequent procedure.

For commercial use, Orange Waves are sold as retail goods at a price of 15 units per piece, while the wholesale price is 10 units. The seeds maintain viability for up to four years, ensuring stable self-seeding and the ability to grow in various climatic conditions. Thanks to the combination of aesthetic appeal and beneficial properties, this plant is becoming a popular choice for both gardeners and those seeking natural health support.
