Astrum Milady is an annual plant forming a compact bush about 25 cm high and wide. The bushes are sturdy and spreading, abundantly adorned with lush, fully double inflorescences up to 9–10 cm in diameter, whose petals curve inward, tightly hiding the center.
The variety is valued by gardeners for its low maintenance requirements, lushness, and variety of bud colors during flowering, which retain freshness for a long time. The flowering period begins in July and lasts until the end of September, making the plant ideal for decorative border, loggia, balcony, and terrace design.
For growing Astrum Milady, sowing for seedlings is carried out in March or April: seeds are slightly covered with soil, and at temperatures of 18–20 °C, seedlings appear within 5–7 days. When the plants develop 2–3 true leaves, transplanting and hardening are carried out before planting in open ground. Plants are planted 25–30 cm apart; the plant tolerates transplantation even in full bloom.
