Tulip Abra

Reliability and Aesthetics of the Triumph Class

The "Abra" tulip holds a strong position in the mid-season segment, serving as a classic example of the Triumph group. Its popularity among professional florists and landscape designers stems from its signature goblet-shaped bud and high adaptability to varying environmental conditions.

Agrotechnical Profile and Disease Resistance

This variety stands out among its peers due to its complex resistance to the most common bulbous pathogens. Under intensive growing conditions, the crop shows a strong immunity to:

• Fusarium wilt, which is critical for maintaining the health and quality of planting material;
• Anthracnose and Alternaria, which typically affect the vegetative mass;
• Powdery mildew, often triggered by humidity fluctuations.

Flowering Characteristics

Visually, "Abra" captures attention with its deep color transition: the petals feature an intense red hue with subtle lilac undertones. The bud maintains a firm, sturdy stem throughout its blooming cycle, and the medium plant height makes this variety ideal for cut flowers as well as mid-layer landscaping. The variety is highly stable and does not require specialized growing techniques, making it a reliable choice for both commercial greenhouse production and open-field cultivation.
