Description TAGETES 'ORANGEPRINZ'
Tagetes erecta 'Orangeprinz' – upright marigold with a height of 60 to 80 cm, featuring a compact bush and sturdy stems. Leaves are dark green, large, and slightly pinnatifid, giving the plant a lush green structure.

The main feature of the variety is its large, double, spherical flower heads with a diameter of 8–10 cm in a rich orange color. Flowering begins in mid-June and continues until the first frost; to extend the flowering period, it is recommended to remove withered buds.

'Orangeprinz' is excellent for creating tall groups, cut flowers, and is widely used in flower beds and borders. The plant is heat-loving, drought-resistant, prefers sunny locations, and thrives in well-drained soil of any texture. Seeds are sown in April–May in seedling boxes at a depth of 0.5–1 cm; seedlings appear within 7–15 days at a soil temperature of +18 °C. Two weeks later, seedlings are transplanted, and after spring frosts have ended, they are planted in the ground at a distance of 30–40 cm between plants.
